Hi, I’m Joanna Harcourt-Smith, link-liaison for Metahistory.org. I am here to answer any questions you may have about our site. If you are reticent or uncertain regarding how to participate in our dialogue on belief, I am here to ease the way. Joanna@Metahistory.org

I believe that inner and outer peace depend on having the courage and honesty to share our core beliefs with each other. Some of us used to say, "I see where you’re coming from." Well that’s what we are trying to find out by these questions. Leonardo da Vinci said "Nothing can be loved or hated until it is understood".

Let’s correspond about the stories that run our lives and go together to the heart of what matters. So many stories where imposed upon us by our parents, religious authorities, the educational system, the state and the cultures in which we live. To put both beliefs and stories out in the open is an act of courage. By revealing our core beliefs to one another we can begin to weave what I would call "Collective Intimacy".
