Steering the Mother Ship: Imaginal Reckoning
The BEM, barycenter-earth-moon, is the point of shared mass or center of gravity between earth and moon. That is, the fulcrum of shared mass in the earth-moon coupling, like the fulcrum of a see-saw. Astronomical law says that with two bodies locked in a mutual gravitational dynamic, the center of shared mass will be displaced toward the larger body in proportion to its multiple of mass compared to the lesser body. The mass of the earth is 81 times greater than the mass of the moon. Therefore the barycenter of the earth-moon system is displaced by 81 units from the moon, of lesser mass, toward the earth, of greater mass.
The mean distance from earth to moon is 230,100 miles. I/81th of this distance is about 2840 miles. The radius of the earth is about 3950 miles. So, measuring out from the center of the earth and subtracting this unit (1/81th) from the radius, you get 1110 miles. This is the average distance of the barycenter beneath the surface of the earth. The common center of mass in the earth-moon system is displaced so far toward the body of greater mass, the earth, that it falls within the physical body of the earth.
The barycenter, along with the apogee and perigee points on the elliptical lunar orbit, is the steering mechanism by which Gaia sets and follows a course through the galactic currents, traversing the region of the galactic spiral arms where the solar system (fleet) is located. As we begin to realize that the earth is a celestial body capable of self-propelling motion, we may well wonder how the planet handles its journey, how it steers and navigates on its own power. Not only can we discover how she does so, but we can even participate in how the earth sets its course and and steers itself on its way, navigating by the stars. Tracking the earth's celestial journey in real time is the elective mission of the navigational crew on the mother ship, Terra Navis.
Holding the Helm
The helm of the mother ship earth has peculiar properties due to the way Gaia uses the BEM mechanism as a whole to navigate. A nautical metaphor can serve to describe the construction of the helm-rudder device of the planet. Let's compare the earth to a special kind of vessel, a hybrid steam-sailboat. In this case, a square-rigger with two funnels.
This visualization will be helpful at the outset. We register that the mother ship navigates by air and by steam: that is, by external currents (wind) and internal or on-board power. Now comes the odd part: the rudder of the mother ship is front-mounted. Close to the prow of the ship is a vertical post, the rudder shaft. The rudder hinges on the shaft, aligned with the hull. The control yoke at the helm controls the rudder in an unusual manner, as illustrated below in my crude hand-drawn rendition: TOP, the ellipse of the lunar orbit with perigee and apogee indicated, BELOW, the helm-rudder construct.
As you stand at the helm you do not merely stand before the wheel as pilots normally do. Most ocean liners have a large wheel with protruding spokes. Some fast sailing boats like the Americas yachts have an oversized wheel of light metal for swinging the boat around more easily. But in both cases the pilot stands before the wheel. The helm of the mother ship is a yoke into which the helmsman has to be inserted physically. That is, you participate physically with your body in the navigational process.
Imagine that you place yourself up close to the shaft of the helm, legs spread and braced for steadiness, your solar plexus pressed against the vertical shaft on which the armature is mounted. You press your entire body into position, aligning your spine with the mounting shaft. The level of the armature is halfway between your rib and your hips. You could imagine a harness that straps you to the control yoke by a wide belt around your back, engaging your torso physically with the armature.
Now, you grip the left handle of the control yoke with elbow bent because that part of the armature is short, positioned close to your waist. You have a strong flexing advantage in your arm, forearm, and wrist, due to holding this handle close to your side, tucking it in. With your right arm you stretch out to grip the right end of the armature so that your arm is practically straight, elbow locked. In the right-side posture there is less strength of grip but better balance, and more latitude to swing the armature in a slow, even manner.
This is the position for holding the helm of the mother ship. It imitates the dynamic positioning and distribution of kinetic forces in the BEM system, as suggested by the comparison of the control yoke with the astronomical illustration above it. The armature is oddly jointed to allow a swing-around of the left-side arm, leaving a lot of play in the wheel on that side, you could say. The right-side armature of the control yoke, by contrast, is tightly geared and does not allow for play.
At the helm of the mother ship, you navigate by coordinating two functions of the rudder: turn and steady. The properties of the bow-mounted rudder are peculiar. It allows cutting sharply into the galactic currents or even cutting across them, the equivalent of cutting through a wave or heaving sea swell. To do this, you use the left handle, equivalent to the perigee. As my hand-drawn picture shows, the left handle is geared to the trailing end of the rudder so that it can pull it around, either way. By doing so, the left-side armature undergoes great stress. Typically, as you steer the ship into a swell or across a strong current, the armature will vibrate and shiver back and forth. It will judder. As the rudder cuts a new course, the steerage mechanism reacts to the force it encounters. The perigee of the moon fluctuates wildly in the course of each month.
Due to the often violent fluctuations of the left-side armature, the mother ship needs to be steadied on the course she has taken. The left handle cannot do this because it is geared to the rudder for changing direction, not for holding the direction taken. To steady the ship, you lean into the right-side armature which is geared differently to the rudder, as the drawing suggests. The right-side handle controlled by the full length of your straightened arm, elbow locked, your body leaning into the grip, allows you to steady the mother ship on the course selected by the left-side handle. The apogee of the moon holds relatively steady in the course of each month.
Perigee: turn into a new bearing on the destination. Apogee: hold to the new bearing.
Each month the moon transits its apogee and perigee, but not exactly every two weeks due to the juddering of the left-side armature, the perigee, which shifts back and forth, rarely in exact 180-degree opposition to the apogee. In terms of the telluric dynamics of the Shakti Cluster, these are moments of "surges." In the nautical analogy, the surges represent moments when the mother ship crosses a heave or strong current (perigee surge), taking a new bearing on its main course, and then steadies into the main course (apogee surge). There is a kind of tacking upstream in the galactic currents.
At the perigee surge, when the barycenter is pushed deeper toward the core of the planet, there is a concentration and integration of telluric forces (electromagnetic), as if the mother vessel is bracing for the new bearing it makes, and steaming hard into the turn. At the apogee surge, when the barycenter is pulled outward toward the surface of the planet, the telluric forces expand and spread with a feeling of release, as if the sails are furling in a leading wind as the mother ship settles into the new course—to be more precise, holds the new bearing on the constant course. Hence the alternative use of steam and sail.
In Demonstrating the Mythogenetic Method, I explained that the apogee of the moon viewed against the background of the zodiac encodes the way that the Aeon Sophia recapitulates her story as she proceeds in correction. She actually recalls specific instances in her past, specific tests or crises she underwent in the long process of morphing into this planet. Significantly, correction begins with the lunar apogee in the FISHES or WHALES. There's a nautical allusion already. The progression of her recall is recorded in the captain's log: Gaia's account of her journey back to source.
On March 6, 2011 the moon crossed its apogee then located in 1 ECL (1 degrees of the Sign Aries), exactly at the vernal point or start point of the tropical zodiac. This is the position of the sun at the spring equinox. On March 19, the moon crossed its perigee in 178 ECL (28 degrees of the Sign Virgo). Against the background of the zodiac, this locale marks the forehead of the VIRGIN.
This detail from the Rimsite model of the zodiac shows the constellation of the VIRGIN or Isis-Sophia in mythological terms. The horizontal line extending to the bridge of her nose is the fall equinox which is currently precessing upward, "unveiling the Virgin," you could say.
I draw the Virgin so that only the upper part of her face and her right knee (look closely) are exposed. All the rest of her is draped in the "Veil of Isis." A triple veil, tradition says.
At the onset of correction, the lunar perigee was just a couple of degrees above the line of the fall equinox: right between the eyes of the Virgin. At that moment, Isis-Sophia sees correction. Her awakening takes but a moment of earth time, a fleeting second, yet its scope encompasses the sweep of time as Sophia herself experiences it, as an Aeon does. How does an Aeon experience time? This is impossible to say or imagine in human terms but a comparative timeframe can be applied to this riddle: As a celestial being, an Aeon lives by star time which in human terms is measured by precession of the equinoxes. One full precessional cycle of 25,920 years (360 times 72 years per degree) is a day to an Aeon. Break this down and you find that 18 years is a minute of Aeonic time. 108 days is a second to Gaia-Sophia. What unfolds for us in 108 days happens for her a second, so immense is the magnitude of her awareness.
Although it has been a long time in coming, Sophia's correction happens in a matter of seconds in her time. In about 21-22 months from March 2011 the goddess realizes her correction in a lucid and comprehensive manner. In another 13-14 months. she accomplishes it totally. From onset to completion, correction takes about 36 months or three years. That is to say, ten seconds in her time. 1080 days in human time.
Do not assume, however, that this is a fixed quantity of time determined by a rigid pattern typical of male-mind concepts such as elaborate and programmatic breakdowns of the Mayan Long Count. Sophia's correction is not a programmatic event and cannot be predicted or plotted along the lines of Calleman's scheme of the Long Count, even though some points in that scheme resonate with moments in the correction. However, a practiced terton can divine the general outlines of her recapitulation and reconnection to the Pleromic Dreaming of the Aeons in the galactic center. Observing the upcoming motifs of her recall process, it is possible to sketch out imaginatively how correction will proceed. But the only way to know for sure is to go along with her in real time.
NOTE: The Maine terton is not predicting in the usual sense, just forecasting in the way a weatherman does, and rather loosely at that. Please bear in mind that I did not predict the moment of correction. I never tried to do that. I followed the barycenter mechanism from 1976, observing it closely for 35 years, and I wrote and spoke over the last thirteen years on the enigmatic issue of Sophia's correction, a matter left unresolved due the destruction of the Mysteries. Gnostic writings mention the correction without saying what it is or when it will transpire. So, I did not predict that the onset of correction would come in March 2011. I caught it when it happened because I was living with Gaia's life-process in real time.
Poised in the moment, not prone to predict. Crucial distinction for a terton.
Many dates have been proposed for the planetary shift associated with 2012 and other time-cycles including geological and astronomical periods such as the Ice Ages, precession of the equinoxes, reversal of the magnetic poles, the Milankovitch cycles, sun spots, etc. So, I may as well add my two-sense worth (pun intended). My estimate for the duration of di-orthosis or two-sense solution of the Wisdom Goddess is March 2011 - March 2014, or maybe a couple of months less. I strongly suspect that Gaia-Sophia will signal the completion of correction by having it rain all over the world at the same time. This event would signify the establishment of the "rainbow bridge" for full-spectrum intercommunication between the earth, humanity, and the open source field of galactic life, including other civilizations and interdimensional beings, not to mention the Pleromic Aeons.
I have claimed that Gaia is awakening in a lucid dream but not yet detailed what she has been dreaming except to say that it is nightmare scenario. You don't have to look far to see the evidence of her bad dream: the nightmare of human history played out in the culmination of patriarchal domination that got underway with the repression of the Divine Feminine, beginning 6000 years ago, followed by the destruction of the Mysteries dedicated to instruction by the Light, the primary substance body of Sophia. The nightmare ends when the three-D strategy of division, deceit, and domination can no longer be logistically sustained, resources for war run dry, secrecy wears thin as on old glove, people wake up to the global financial scam and the fraudulent war on terror, not to mention a dozen other hoaxes such as carbon eugenics, and even collusion fails, leaving the intra-species predators to turn on each other or kill themselves or go mad or go into hiding, only to be reached and exterminated by the lethal magic of Kalika ecowarriors.
That moment is now, in Gaia's time and ours alike, the end of the nightmare begins.
How, then, does the two-course solution manifest as the nightmare comes to an end? Good question, if I do say so myself! Once again, a nautical analogy may be instructive. I refer to the notion of dead reckoning, here defined:
The globalist predators are on a course of dead reckoning that cannot but lead them to their own destruction. Why? Because the errors of the process by which they navigate are cumulative—an understatement! They see their way to manipulate and manage the world in a logistic, linear progression that suffers now, fatally, from an accumulation of errors. The mark of the archons or authorities is exaggeration of error beyond the scale of correction. The error of patriarchy and the theocratic inflation of the predators has reached its consummation in total absurdity and mindless violence. By that course, the way of dead reckoning, part of humanity will be lead to the destruction it has prepared for itself.
As for the part that now begins to participate in Sophia's correction, another course of events unfolds in parallel with the end of the nightmare on its own terms. What do I imply here? That some of humanity will escape the nightmare without harm? Or that it will only harm those who are engaged in fulfilling it? Or something in between?
Recall that I do not predict. Also bear in mind that navigating with the Wisdom Goddess is not a fantasy, not make-believe. It is a mystical adventure, of course, but it is also an existential challenge. Current history shows that a good many innocent people are being killed or maimed, or having their lives destroyed in front of their eyes even if they are not physically assaulted, and that is a plain fact of life. It would seem reasonable to assume, then, that some collateral damage may occur among those who do not go the course of dead reckoning with the globalist perpetrators. Are those who would take Gaia's way with her at risk of being harmed or killed as the global system of 3-D manipulation crashes down upon itself? Well, yes and no. Remember, this is a two-sense solution.
Until now, there has obviously been a lot of harm done to innocent people by the course of dead reckoning. Consider the countless numbers of dead and wounded in Iraq, the children deformed by DU weapons, the generation poisoned in advance. And that is just Iraq, just one corner in the nightmare.
With imaginal reckoning--as participation in correction might be called-- you enter another course in parallel to the course of self-destruction and there is no way to tell how the parallel courses will affect each other, except by living through the two-course solution in real time. Anyone can be caught in the orchestrations of social evil, killed by the 3-D blow. It would be a foolish act of make-believe to deny this could happen, but with Gaia everything depends on odds. She plays the odds, not quantities. No one can estimate what quantities of human beings are going to die in the three years of correction. But bear in mind that the odds of dying in the downfall of the patriarchal game are subject to change, indeed, to radical modification. I could perhaps express this notion loosely as a kind of law, a principle of Gaian selection:
So what exactly is imaginal reckoning? It is the way to follow the turn-and-steady operations of the steering armature in mythopoetic terms, decoding the zodiac from the positions of the lunar apsides. Reading Sophia's recapitulation on the apogee, as I have suggested. Following how she comes to terms with long aeons of her experience in a matter of seconds, months in human terms, giving us time to live into it consciously and conatively. Observing how she recalls, for instance, the Christic intercession, or her initial confrontation with the Archons described in the passage from On the Origin of the World I cited in THE TRUE ANARCHY OF LIFE ON EARTH. Reviewing these events, Gaia-Sophia makes entries in the captain's log. Following those entries, we can see how she navigates into her correction on the galactic scale. This is not "information," folks. This is sacred knowledge of divine animation operating in real time with human witnesses on board.
