Believe it or Not

Belief creates reality, or does it? This well-known platitude may attribute far too much power to beliefs. Contrary to the advice (commonly delivered in the deep froggy tone of James Earl Jones speaking for CNN, if not Darth Vadar) that "all you believe, you can achieve," I submit that belief in itself creates nothing, but acts to filter all that we can imagine and create.

Crops circles are probably the ultimate litmus test for beliefs regarding the hidden intelligence of nature. Do you believe they aremade by human beings? All the evidence says they are not—but, of course, belief stands independent of evidence, doesn't it?
We behave as we believe.
